Trichinopoly Pendants without the waste

The images that follow are an evolving handout for a class first offered by Doffin-Hallr Morrisson at Hrim-Schola XII, 8 March 2008 in the shire of Frosted Hills. The handout contains:

  1. a few vocabulary terms
  2. making the flower
  3. the single stitch bead
  4. the double stitch bead
  5. adding wire if you come up short
  6. shaping the bead
  7. clipping it free, closing the top and bottom of the bead, adding a ring of heavier silver wire from which to hang it
  8. recreating the Birka wire bead (notes only)
  9. source: I get my wire from Metalliferous, Inc.http://www.metalliferous.com
  10. bibliography

To keep it simple, all photos are by me and all work shown is being done by me. Use it for yourself, print a copy if you like. Please don't reprint for others, repost or publish it without checking with me first. The best way to print it is to view the links above which generally link to the album thumbnail pages. Print each of those and you can assemble them into a booklet. When viewing on line, you may want to see the full size images, and so use the link to the handout below to get to this.

This handout will change as I correct it and continue to teach from it. While I believe that it is quite usefull in it's current state, it is a work in progress, please view it accordingly. -Greg
